Heerenhuis make contemporary and simplistic furniture in the traditional way, using authentic materials: from non-coated steel to vegetable tanned leather. From reclaimed solid oak to uncoated steel that highlights its natural patina, all pieces are hand finished using oil, wax or varnish. Together this creates naturally beautiful and long-lasting pieces perfect for modern home living. The nimbus is a thin cross section of an oak log, mounted on a round black matte frame. The small cracks and imperfections in the wood are deftly filled up with the same metal and then the whole is smoothed over. Available in three different sizes.
